Hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) certification
Yarra Valley Water received Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) accreditation in December 1999. This consists of a third party independent audit to ensure that water quality risks are identified and managed. HACCP accreditation reassures our customers that we protect the water supply system and provide them with safe water.
We have incorporated HACCP into the process control element of our existing Quality Management System in order to draw an even stronger focus on public health issues within their water supply processes. Our HACCP plan has been developed for the whole of our distribution process from the receiving of water through to the customer interface.
