Water Plan
2009/10-2012/13
On 5 November 2008 we lodged our Water Plan for 2009/10 to 2012/13 for review with the Essential Services Commission.
Our Water Plan outlines Yarra Valley Water's proposed investments, levels of service to customers and changes to water pricing for the four year period beginning in 2009/10.
Importantly, our Water Plan provides for funding of the essential infrastructure projects as part of the Victorian Government's $4.9 billion Water Plan.
The Essential Services Commission reviewed our Water Plan as part of its review of the plans of the metropolitan water utilities and made a price determination for Yarra Valley Water in June 2009. Weighted average real price increased approved by the Essential Services Commission were 17.4% in 2009/10, 16.2% in 2010/11, 11.4% in 2011/12 and 8.1% in 2012/13.
