Yering Recycled Water Scheme
In September 2009 we commenced construction of a new pipeline to carry Class B recycled water from our Lilydale Sewage Treatment Plant, to irrigate and drought proof the new Croydon.

The Yering Recycled Water Scheme can supply up to 530 million litres of recycled water per year and will ultimately irrigate the future Eastern and Chirnside Golf Clubs.
It will also significantly reduce the volume of Class B recycled water being discharged to Olinda Creek, the Yarra River and ultimately into Port Phillip Bay.
