What rebates are currently available?

A wide range of rebates are currently available including the recently increased rebates for large tanks and upgrading to dual flush toilets.  Rebates are also available for garden products and greywater systems which assist households to reuse waste water.

What are all these charges on my bill?

Yarra Valley Water charges you for water and sewerage services and for your household's usage. For more information click through to our pricing page

Your money goes to:

  • Paying for new water supplies including the north south pipeline and the desalination plant.
  • Ensuring high quality water
  • Transporting water to your home
  • Efficiently removing waste water from your home via the sewerage system
  • Cleaning the waste water removed from your property to protect public health and safety.
  • Returning cleaned water back to the water cycle and looking after the environment.

What is recycled water?

Recycled water is water that has been treated to a 'fit for purpose' standard for a specific reuse application.
There are different water classes (Classes A - D) which can be used in accordance with an EPA Victoria-approved, fit-for-purpose application.

How do I read my water meter?
