Water efficiency grants for business customers 



For the first time Yarra Valley Water is offering business customers the opportunity to apply for a one off grant to improve your water efficiency.

The fund provides up to $5000 for an eligible project and requires a minimum of 50%
co-contribution by the applicant.

 

The Fund aims to:

  • Encourage businesses to carry out planned water efficiency activities

  • Invest in water efficient technology

  • Improve existing business practices to achieve water efficiency

  • Achieve a range of additional environmental, social and economic beneficial outcomes.

     

How to apply:

Step 1.

  • Applicants may make an informal expression of interest by e-mailing business@yvw.com.au or apply by completing the application form.

  • Refer to the General Guidelines document for a full overview of the eligibility criteria. It details what is required of you to be successful in your application.

Step 2.

  • Applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee at Yarra Valley Water.

Step 3.

  • Notifications will be made in writing within 30 business days from your application lodgement.

  • Successful applicants will be required to enter into a Funding Agreement. 

Step 4.

  • Funds are payable upon completion of an approved project. We require proof of completion along with a tax invoice issued to Yarra Valley Water. 

  • Successful applicants are also obliged to provide a Project Summary Report at the conclusion of the project.
