Bushfires and your water supply

Every summer, as the weather becomes hotter and vegetation dries out, our region experiences a high fire danger period.

Yarra Valley Water is prepared for bushfires, however extreme circumstances may interfere with Yarra Valley Water's ability to maintain water pressure or an uninterrupted water supply during a bushfire.

When making your fire plan, be prepared with an independent water supply. We recommend you consult CFA about preparing your property for bushfire.
