Frogley Outlet Water Main Project
Yarra Valley Water is replacing a 2.3 kilometre-long section of a critical water main in the Badger Creek area to ensure the reliability of our water supply. The water main is one of our key assets responsible or supplying water to our customers in Healesville, Badger Creek and Chum Creek.
Our works run from the Frogley Reservoir and then west along the Badger Weir access road, through the Badger Weir Picnic Ground and along Badger Weir Road.
The new water main alignment thens head north up an access track located at 109 Badger Weir Road, before crossing Badger Creek and connecting into the existing main.
Construction started in mid-October 2013 and should take about two months to complete. The expected completion date is 20 December 2013, subject to good weather and ground conditions.
Potentially affected customers will receive regular information updates throughout the project.
