Resources for Water-LiLi Schools
There are several resources available to Water-LiLi schools within the Yarra Valley Water service area to help incorporate water education into your curriculum.
Water - Learn it! Live it! Curriculum Resource
The Water - Learn it! Live it! curriculum resource is easy to use, containing a range of specidfic lessons and activties to provide interactive and fresh ideas for encouraging learning about water related issues. All activities have been designed to suit the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).
Lending Library
The Lending Library contains over 100 books, brochures, DVD's and interecative CD's all to do with water. The resources are suitable for a range of year levels, from early childhood, right through to teachers/adults. The Library can be borrowed from Yarra Valley Water for a period of up to 3 weeks at a time. To request the Lending Library, please email education@yvw.com.au
Drains and Ladders Game
This life sized game is a water-themed version of the classic Snakes and ladders. The game is available for use by schools for events or during their water units for a period of up to 3 weeks at a time. To request the Drains and Ladders game, please email education@yvw.com.au
