Backflow
What is backflow?
Backflow is the unwanted reverse flow of water from a property to the drinking water system. This can be caused by either back-pressure or back-syphonage, or a combination of the two.

How do you prevent backflow from occurring?
It may be necessary to install a Backflow Prevention Device to eliminate the possibility of backflow occurring. This device allows water to enter the property through the meter assembly but will not allow the water to flow back into the water supply system. This protects our water supply from potential contaminants.
