Annual parks charge

The Parks charge is not related to the water and sewerage services that we provide to you.

It is a charge on all Melbourne properties to maintain and enhance Victoria's parks, our Zoo's, the Royal Botanic gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance as well as many other community facilities.

We collect this charge for Parks Victoria because it is cheaper for the community than issuing a separate bill. 


For 2011/12 the charge has increased by 2.2%
