Your billImportant changes to your bill

Over the next few months Yarra Valley Water is making changes to its billing and customer information systems to ensure the best possible customer service. We are very excited about this, as it will allow us to have faster access to current and accurate information to help serve you better.

While you should not notice any major changes to the way we operate, there are a few important changes you should note:

1. Some customers are using outdated BPAY Reference Numbers and Biller Codes to pay their bill, which are no longer valid

Next time you pay a Yarra Valley Water bill using BPAY please always remember to use the BPAY Reference Number and Biller Code as stated on the lower half section on the back of your latest bill.

2. If you normally receive your bill electronically via BPAY View you will need to re-register on your internet banking site

Click here for a step by step guide to re-registering

Customers who normally receive their bill electronically via BPAY View will receive thier next bill as a paper bill via the post. This paper bill will include our new BPAY View Biller Code and your new unique Registration Number.

If you wish to continue to receive future bills electronically via BPAY View you will need to re-register using the new Biller Code and Reference Number on your internet banking site.

Notification will be provided through your internet banking site on the status of your registration within 3 days.

As part of this process we will also be changing the look of our electronic bills, improving the format and making them easier to read and understand. Information on the latest water saving tips and offers will also now be available.

3. Your billing period may be longer this quarter

Some customers may have received their first bill of 2010 for fewer days and for a lower amount than usual (a normal billing period is around 90 days in length). If this applied to you, your current bill will cover a longer period and will be higher.

Yarra Valley Water provides flexible payment terms and a range of payment options for customers who may experience financial difficulty as a consequence. For more information on payment assistance.

You can expect your future bills to return to the normal cycle of approximately 90 days.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but these changes are necessary and important, and we invite you to call one of our customer service consultants on 13 1721 should you have any further questions.
