Residential landlords
Payment responsibilities
If you own a separatelymetered rental property you are responsible for paying the water and sewerage system charges and the drainage and parks charge. See Pricing & Charges for more detail. The tenant is responsible for the water usage and sewage disposal charges.
You will received a separate quarterly or monthly account.
If you are not separately metered and there is a common meter, for example, in a group of flats, you are responsible for a portion of the usage charges as well as the service charges. These charges cannot be passed onto the tenant for payment.
Maintenance
Maintenance of water supply and sewerage service is the property owner’s responsibility. This includes anything on your side of the meter or up to the connection with our sewer branch (usually inside the property boundary). Refer to the customer charter for further details.
Multiple account customers
If you own 5 (five) or more properties you can receive all your accounts at the one time, ensuring a convenient method of bill payment. Please email us with the details of the property addresses you own and a preferred mailing address.
