EasyDevelop Resources

Yarra Valley Water uses EasyDevelop, an application process for developers. EasyDevelop delivers comprehensive assessments and timely advice to help avoid unnecessary setbacks when developing property.  These include access to online services, free consultation, and water sensitive urban design.

Asset Map

The Asset Map is a free service showing the locations of all the sewer and water assets within the Yarra Valley Water area.  This service is only available for Accredited Land Development Consultants and Contractors who work with Yarra Valley Water.  To apply for access to the Asset Map, email GISHelpdesk@yvw.com.au.

In order to access the Asset Map, you will require the following:

  1. Adobe SVG Plug in v3.03

  2. Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 or 8

  3. Internet connection: minimum 56k dial-up connection.  Recommended 256 ADSL or broadband Internet connection and above.


Free Consultation

EasyDevelop includes a free consultation service for developers, plumbers and builders.  You can request a meeting with us to review your proposal at the earliest stage possible.

During this consultation we will ensure we have all the information required to assess your proposal and provide the service advice you need.  This service, known as Preliminary Servicing Advice (PSA), replaces our previous over-the-counter service.

A formal response will be provided once you have made an application to us for your development proposal.

Water Sensitive Urban Design

As part of our strategic commitment to the environment, we seek to provide our services in a sustainable manner and inspire others to do the same.  Through the promotion of water sensitive urban design concepts we can move closer to this objective.
