Saving water at home

A little more than a half of all water supplied is used in and around the home. An average Melbourne household uses about 200,000 litres of water per year.

Due to fantastic water saving efforts, the amount of water used in the home has slightly decreased, but we still have a long way to go. It's important to remember we do not have an unlimited amount of water and we still need to look at new ways of reducing the amount of water we use around the home.
