Courtreat Trials
Tennis clubs in our service area with en-tout-cas courts participated in a new Community Water Saving Pilot. Yarra Valley Water assisted tennis clubs to trial Courtreat, a treatment which reduces the amount of water that needs to be applied onto the court surface. These trials show that water consumption can be reduced by up to 80%.

Courtreat - keeps court surfaces moist
The main component in Courtreat is calcium chloride. It helps retain moisture in en-tout-cas courts, reducing the need for watering. Calcium chloride works by absorbing the water from the atmosphere. This keeps the court surface moist and has a binding and stabilising effect.
