Step 2 - Check your water meter

Check your water meter or meter number is the same as the one included on your bill.

The meter number is a unique serial number shown on the top of the meter. Below are examples of common water meters. Click the thumbnail of the image to view a larger picture of the meter and to see where the number is located.

The number on your own meter should match the number displayed on the back of your account.


If your water meter number does not match the number on the back of your account, call Yarra Valley Water on 13 1721.

If the meter number does match the number on your account, proceed to step 2.
