Step 1 - Understand your account charges

Step 2 - Check your water meter or meter number is correct
The meter number displayed on your water meter at home should match the number shown on the back of your account.
Step 3 - Check for a leak
Your water meter can be used to detect leaks around your home.

Appliances around your home may be using more water than you think.
Step 5 - Register for a free water saver kit

Step 6 - Use a log sheet
