Bindts Road Water Project

We are constructing new water and recycled water pipes along Bindts Road, Wollert to ensure future residential developments in Epping North, Wollert, Mernda and South Morang can receive a reliable supply of water and recycled water.

Our contractor, MFJ Constructions, will be building the new pipe under the road surface in the following areas:

  • Bindts Road, between Lehmanns Road and Harvest Home Road
  • Harvest Home Road, between Dewpond Crescent and Bindts Road
  • Private land east of Bindts Road.

Construction activities will begin on Monday 28 May 2018, and the works should be completed in December 2018. MFJ Constructions will work Monday to Friday, between 7.00am and 5.00pm. No weekend works will be required for this project.

You may notice

Water supply to nearby properties will not be affected by these works.

You may notice construction noise during work hours such as excavating machines and reversing truck beepers.

Vehicle access along Harvest Home Road and Lehmanns Road will be maintained for the duration of the works, and cars will be able to access the Al Siraat College as they usually would. Bindts Road will be closed to traffic (except local residents) between May and December 2018.

While we make every effort to minimise environmental impacts while we work, it is likely that some trees will need to be removed for this project.
