Buttress Crescent water pump station and pipeline

We’ve built a new water pump station and pipeline in South Morang to ensure a reliable water supply network to the Mernda reservoir and support increased demand.

• The pump station, located near the intersection of Buttress Crescent and McArthurs Road, will transfer water into the new pipeline and up to the Mernda reservoir.

• The 1,800 metre pipeline, was constructed within the road reserve on the northern side of McArthurs Road and private property.

The map below shows the location of the water pump station and the pipeline.

Our project partner, Jaydo Construction Pty Ltd, started work in May 2022.

The pump station and pipeline were tested and commissioned in September 2023.
