Terms and Conditions - WaterCare bill incentive promotion

1. The Promoter is:

Yarra Valley Water Corporation (ABN 93 066 902 501), of registered office address: 25 Lucknow St, Mitcham VIC 3122.

The company mentioned above will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Promoter.’

2. Employees of the Promoter or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition are not eligible for the competition.

3. To enter the draw an entrant must meet the following criteria;

1. Entrants must have an outstanding balance on their active Yarra Valley Water account that is over 90 days old and either;
2. Entrants must pay their Yarra Valley Water bill in full by the due date
3. Or entrants must sign up to an agreed payment arrangement and have paid all due payment as at 30th September.  

4. The competition commences at 12:00am (AEDT) Friday 25, March 2022 and ends at 11:59pm (AEDT) Friday, 30 September 2022. After this end date no further entries for the incentive will be permitted.

5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.

6. The rules of the competition and the prize for each winner are as follows:

• A prize draw, of 25 x $300 each Yarra Valley Bill credit to be drawn after 30th September 2022, chosen at random from all eligible entries (25 Yarra Valley Credits in total).

Conditional on:

• All entrants must have an outstanding balance on their active Yarra Valley Water Account that is over 90 days old as of 25th March 2022
• Entrants must be living in the Yarra Valley Water service area or be customers of the Promoters
• Entrants must be a residential customer of Yarra Valley Water
• Entries are open to persons aged 18 years and older
• The competition is a game of chance.

7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, civil disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

8. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

9. No cash alternative or prizes issued as refund will be offered as part of the promotion. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

10. Winners will be drawn at random using automated generating tool at 25 Lucknow St, Mitcham VIC, 3132 or virtually where government restrictions are applicable, on Monday 3rd October 2022.

11. The winner will be notified on the day of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

12. The Promoter will notify the winners and the credit will be applied to the entrants active Yarra Valley account.

13. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

15. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

16. By entering this competition, entrants agree to the use of their first name and any supplied media being published on the Yarra Valley Water website, shared via the Promoter's social media channels, used for advertising purposes, and media partners’ platforms.

17. The Promoter is bound by the Information Privacy Principles under the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic), and will handle your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Charter.

18. All winners’ first names will be published on the Yarra Valley Water website (www.yvw.com.au).

19. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.
