Yarra Valley Water is able to receive confirmation from Centrelink regarding the current status of your Commonwealth Benefit if you give consent to do so.
We can electronically match details you provide to Yarra Valley Water with Centrelink or Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) records to confirm whether or not you are currently receiving a Commonwealth benefit from Centrelink or DVA and are therefore entitled to a concession.
This consent remains valid while you are a customer of Yarra Valley Water unless you revoke it by contacting Centrelink or Yarra Valley Water.
Alternatively you can obtain proof from Centrelink that you receive a Commonwealth benefit and provide it to Yarra Valley Water so that we can determine your eligibility for a concession.
