Ways to pay your bill

Direct Debit

With a Direct Debit arrangement, your bills will automatically be paid on their due date.

To set-up or manage this, log into Yarra Valley Online Water or call us on 1300 304 688.

Alternatively, you can set up automatic payments from your bank account, credit union account, or VISA or Mastercard.

Direct Debit arrangements can be changed or cancelled at any time with three business days’ notice for bank or credit union accounts, or 1 business days’ notice for VISA or Mastercard.

BPAY

Look for the BPAY logo on your bill to find the biller code and reference number.

You’ll then need to call your bank or log into your internet banking, select BPAY or the bill payment option and follow the instructions.

Yarra Valley Water Online

Yarra Valley Online Water allows you to pay your bills or manage your account at any time, with no need to pick up the phone.

Smoothpay - smaller fortnightly or monthly payments

Our SmoothPay service allows you to pay your bill in fortnightly or monthly instalments that are spread evenly over the year, helping you budget and avoid large payments.

To set up SmoothPay, log into Yarra Valley Online Water or call us on 1800 994 789.

Credit card

You can pay by credit card either online or over the phone. Call 1300 362 332 to pay by VISA or Mastercard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that AMEX and Diners Club are not accepted.

Pay by credit card online

Centrepay

Centrelink customers can set up regular deductions from their Centrelink payments. You can choose to combine this with a SmoothPay arrangement to make payment and budgeting even easier.

To set up Centrepay, you’ll need to contact Centrelink and provide them with the Yarra Valley Water customer reference number: 555 054 118T.

AusPost Billpay

Pay in person at any Australia Post office by cash, cheque or credit card. Remember to take a copy of your bill with you, as they need the barcode to process your payment.

Cheque

Please note: From Thursday 30 June 2022, we’ll no longer be able to accept cheques mailed to us for payment. Our bank will stop processing cheques and our GPO Box will be closed.

In the meantime, to pay your bill by cheque, complete and tear the payment slip off the bottom of your bill and mail to:

Scam warning for customers

Yarra Valley Water is aware of a scam that is offering customers a 30 per cent discount on their water bills. The company offers to pay the bill, asks you to confirm the payment has been made and then gets you to transfer the money into their bank account. 

If you are contacted by someone offering you a 30 per cent discount, do not provide any information and contact us immediately on 1300 853 811.

If you think you have provided your credit or debit card or account details to a scammer, contact your bank or financial institution immediately.
