We’re upgrading to digital meters in select suburbs.

Upgrading to a digital meter is hassle-free.


4 Weeks before install

We’ll send you a notice of works, letting you know when your digital meter will be installed.

A few days before

If you’ve a registered a mobile number with us, we’ll send you an SMS reminder the week of installation. 

Day of install

Installation will take between 10 – 15 minutes, and your water will be turned off during this time. If you’re home, our contractor will let you know when work begins. 

You’re ready

We’ll let you know when your daily water usage information is available to view in MyAccount.

We’re upgrading to digital water meters, making it easier for you to manage your water use. Digital meters send regular updates to our secure data centre, so you can access more detailed and timely information about your water use and bills online. 

We’ll be replacing your existing mechanical meter with a digital one at no cost to you and we’ll manage the installation.
