North Warrandyte Sewerage Project

Many customers in the North Warrandyte area can now access a piped sewerage service.

Approximately 1,000 properties that were unable to contain their wastewater on their property all year round now have the option to flush and let us take care of their wastewater. No more boggy yards and odour.

Project updates

December 2017

Declaration of sewerage in North Warrandyte

We formally declared the sewerage service in North Warrandyte to be 'ready for use' on 21 December 2016.

Community contribution fee

As we have had a high level of interest in people connecting to the new sewer, we are pleased to advise that we have extended by another twelve months the date from which we will start collecting the Community Sewerage Contribution fee.

We will now start collecting the fee from 21 December 2018. This will allow you more time to engage plumbers to complete any works required.

If your property has not connected by 21 December 2018, a Community Sewerage Contribution fee will be added to your quarterly bill. This fee will be $26.44 per quarter for 20 years or until the property has connected.
