Yuroke Pump Station project
What was involved in the works
- A new, underground sewer pump station was built at 85 Hillview Road, Greenvale.
- A 250-metre-long section of new sewer main was constructed to connect the new pump station to the existing sewerage network.
Why we needed to do this
This improvement to the sewerage network was required to ensure the increasing population in Greenvale continues to have access to a reliable sewerage service and overcome a shortfall in the existing sewerage network.
Timing of works
Construction works started in January 2024 and finished by May 2025. Jaydo Construction delivered this work for us.
What to expect
- Your water and/or sewerage services will not be affected.
- We won’t need to enter neighbouring properties.
- Normal working hours will be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, and 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays.
- Some sections of the will be open cut and may require rock breaking, which can be noisy and dusty, and you may feel vibrations.
- There will be vehicles and machinery activity and noise in the area.
