Northbourne Sewer Project

To reduce the risk of sewage spills, we constructed a new pipeline to connect the existing Northbourne sewer to the new Epping Main sewer in Campbellfield. We also decommissioned some maintenance access points along the shared path.

Our Project Partner, MFJ Constructions, have completed their construction work and the new sewer is operational.

Thank you for your patience while we were working in your neighbourhood and parkland.

We will continue to work with Hume City Council and Melbourne Water to rehabilitate the Merri Creek Reserve/Galada Tamboore – and to repatriate the Aboriginal artefacts found during construction works for the Epping Main Sewer Project.
