Water source change – Yan Yean to Silvan

With ongoing dry conditions and less rainfall flowing into Yan Yean Reservoir, Melbourne Water temporarily changed where your water came from.

Thank you for your patience while this change took place - supply has now returned to normal from Yan Yean Reservoir. 

If you lived, worked or visited the suburbs listed below, your water supply was temporarily changed from Monday 13 July.

During this time, Yan Yean Reservoir was topped up with water from Silvan Reservoir for around 4–6 weeks.
