Yarra Valley Water brings bill support pop ups to Melbourne’s north and east

Yarra Valley Water’s financial support team will host a series of pop‑up events, giving customers the chance to have a friendly, in person chat about their bills and the support options available to them.
Whether it’s understanding concessions, checking eligibility for grants or setting up more manageable payment options, staff will be on hand to offer practical help.
Residents from Darebin, Manningham and Banyule LGAs are encouraged to drop in and learn about the full range of support available.
This includes help for Pension and Concession Card holders to apply for bill concessions of up to 50 per cent, as well as assistance for eligible customers to access up to $650 through Utility Relief Grants.
Yarra Valley Water General Manager Retail Services, Lisa Anelli, said connecting directly with customers was key to supporting local communities.
“Being present in our communities really matters to us,” Ms Anelli said.
“We know cost of living pressures are affecting many households, and we want our customers to know they’re not alone and that support is available.”
“Our team will be at local libraries and community centres to listen, answer questions and support customers to find options that work for them. We welcome anyone who needs a hand to drop in and talk with us.”
