Yarra Valley Water's Stephanie Salinas Recognised as National Finalist at 2026 Women in Industry Awards

The achievement highlights Stephanie's outstanding leadership and contribution to advancing sustainable energy solutions, resource recovery and Victoria's circular economy.
Stephanie plays a key role in projects such as ReWaste, Yarra Valley Water’s Waste to Energy facilities in Wollert and Lilydale, where commercial food waste is transformed into renewable energy.
Through her leadership, Stephanie has championed waste to energy operations, advocated for bioenergy across the industry, led the development of innovative circular economy solutions and mentored emerging leaders, particularly women in STEM.
Yarra Valley Water Divisional Manager Operations, Ash Hamer, said being named a finalist was a well-deserved acknowledgement of Stephanie's impact across the industry.
